I had a wonderful stay at a centrally located hostel with great facilities. The staff at New York Hostel were friendly and spoke excellent English. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a fan provided to keep cool. The included breakfast of bread, croissants, and muffins with ham and cheese was a nice bonus. The hostel also had a store for extra baggage and a kitchen equipped with everything I needed. I highly recommend this hostel for its value, cleanliness, and convenient location.

This is definitely the place to stay at if you gonna visit Barcelona. The beds are really comfortable for being hostel beds. They are both clean and fresh. Cleaning everyday. You got your own box or locker to put your belongings. The hostel is located on a small street so its calm and quiet at night. Lidel and other supermarkets are really near and there are lots of diffrent restaurants in the area. I have never feelt so safe at a hostel as I did during my stay at the hostel box, wich for me is really important because I travell alone. The personal who works and owns the place are super friendly and helping. And you can tell that they really care about their guests. In the loungeroom you can cook food or relax watching tv or a movie or play parlour games with the other hostel guests. They allso have a washingmachine if you need to wash your clothes. They have a roof terras that is nice to hang out at.

Very friendly, close to the port and the center city. Very warm welcome of the personal. The best price I had in all my holidays
Room of 16, but for a so small price, it's a huge advantage. To warm, but that's personal, for most, it's the right temperature

The Staff was friendly and very welcoming. The position is quite close to the centre of the city.
The 4-bedroom is too small! You feel yourself as a bird into a cage! The rooms and the bathrooms are dirty! I found my mattress quite dirty! There is too hot in the bedrooms and the clean service don't let air changes into the bedrooms, then they smell bad! I won't come back here anymore next time I'll be in Barcelona.

The Hostel Box was a great center point to explore the city of Barcelona. The value for this hostel was great! Location was amazing, off the beaten path, but just a block away from La Rambla. The staff was friendly and would help as much as they could. The hostel was quiet and guests were respectful of each other. I was happy with the showers; very warm water. No complaints. Overall, I would tell my friends to stay here with no hesitation. Also, met really cool people while staying there. One of the best times that I've had since living in Europe.
There were no complaints as a solo traveler going during the off season.

We loved the location, being right in the heart of the old quarter. the staff were incredibly friendly and had amazing language skills, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We felt secure for our young children and the hostel had good wifi. the mattresses were comfy and the nights were quiet, despite there being lots of people staying. the toilets and showers were very clean, and we appreciated the separate shower areas for boys and girls. the 24-hour check-in and access was super helpful too.
Felt like VIPs, no complaints at all.

I liked very much the cleaness of the hostel and the design.

Awesome hostel. One of the best I have been to! Ideal if you want to party in Barcelona. The staff [Christopher, Elizabeth and Carlos] so friendly and helpful. A few metres away from La Rambla.
